Is this clinical trial right for you?
While CAUTI (Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections) reduction has come a long way in the last several decades there is room for improvement. Advancements in education, procedures and protocols has been the focus without any real innovation in solving the core problem. There are some catheter products on the market that address CAUTI reduction, but none that approach the challenge with a "barrier" to infection.
Women experience CAUTI and associated health challenges more than 2.5:1 over men. More than 8 million women age 30 to 50 in the U.S. are affected by incontinence with more than 2 million having moderate to severe symptoms. While this trial is focused on women, CAUTIBarrier may also benefit men who use superpubic tubes.
A CAUTI solution would provide better bladder control options for thousands of women. The dignity of self control without the need for wet undergarments. Benefits could include: cost savings, elimination of odors, no wet uncomfortable pads, no more disposal of saturated undergarments, choose the clothes you want to wear and more.
Please share a little about your personal experiences with Incontinence. More than 78 Million women in the U.S. experience Incontinence, you are not alone. Even if you are not a candidate for this Trial we want to hear from you and value your input. Thank You!
